Frog Suffering a Mosquito

You know it's a weird year when you capture the moment that a suicidal mosquito bites a frog right above its mouth. I didn't even see this until I brought the photo in for processing, and I couldn't believe my eyes. Apparently mosquitos will do this, though they likely prefer the safer option of warm blood from a creature who doesn't feast on them. Churchville Nature Center, Churchville, PA-US
