A close up of a classic Packard car, which I believe was a 1955 Packard 400. It was a beautiful automobile, and this one was in stunning condition.

Crystal Glass in High Key

A high key shot of a crystal glass. This was shot in front of a soft box to provide the back light necessary to create the minimalist image showing the intricate detail of the designs in the glass itself.

The third stage of the mighty Saturn V rocket, which took the Apollo 11 crew to space, and finally the moon.

Retouch of an Industrial Testing Lab

This was done for a packaging company to showcase their in house testing lab. I cleaned it up quite a bit, but I did not want to lose that 'used' feel as many of the machines used to test are heavy duty, and the tests themselves are fairly punishing.

The Underlying Reality

The building blocks of our shared vision of reality seem to assemble from a mixture of random chance and formless fluidity. However, when something seems magical, it is usually because we don't fully understand the mechanisms and how they work.

This is Apollo Launch Control @ the Apollo Saturn V Center in Kennedy Space Center. It is a countdown and launch simulator that shakes the walls on 'lift off'.

View of Lower Manhattan as seen from Governor's Island on a sunny summer day. This creates a real 'City of the Future' type feel with the green landscape of the island in the foreground of a beautiful New York skyline. Governor's Island was more of a unique place to visit than I thought it would be, with the view of Manhattan's towering buildings, not to mention Freedom Tower featured prominently from nearly every view from the island.

A close up of a classic car headlight reveals the streamlined beauty of the older models. This was a Chevy but I did not catch the model or year. Cloned some pieces of the front end out of the lower part of the frame to give it an abstract look.

The recovered command module of the Apollo 14 moon mission after reentry of Earth's atmosphere. The scorched exterior speaks to the tremendous speed and heat the capsule endured.
