Wait No More
Lesser celandine wildflowers are some of the first to appear during the Spring, which has started and stalled many times in the last few weeks. These hearty yellow flowers have waited long enough and are now populating yards and fields throughout Southeast Pennsylvania. Tyler State Park, Newtown PA-USA.

Inter Dimensional
A close up of a Fig Buttercup seems to occupy another dimension, with the sun lighting up the petals against an dark background spotted with bokeh from other flowers.

Bloodroot
Sanguinaria canadensis, known as bloodroot, is a perennial, herbaceous flowering plant native to eastern North America. Tough going for wildflowers so far this year, as we have had temperature swings of 40 degrees fahrenheit from day to day. This was taken on an 85 degree day, and 24 hours later we had temperatures in the 30's with high winds. March did not go out like a lamb this year. Tyler State {ark, Newtown, PA-USA.
Spring Flower Rising
A tiny Spring Beauty flower arises from the dirt. These tiny white and pink flowers usually dot the landscape in Spring in patches, and I caught this one on its way to blooming. Tyler State Park, Newtown PA-US

A wildflower which I believe to be Sawtooth Blackberry, shot in the mid day sun. Part of the Black Sunshine series in black and white.
Pear Tree Blossoms in Spring
Close up of the white blossoms of a pear tree in early Spring, lit by the setting sun. The bloom of tree blossoms was intense and brief this year, most of the flowers were gone within three days.
